Waqrapukara Trek

Very early in the morning we will start with the pick-up from your hotel between 03:30 and 04:00 a.m, then we will go on our mobility to the community of Pitumarka for a time of 3 hours, where we will take our delicious breakfast. After our breakfast our transport will take us for a time of 40 minutes along a zigzagging road, not paved, until the place called the highway point ascending to a height of 4430 m.s. , place where we will start our walk towards Waqrapukara for a time of 2 hours. Our professional guide will lead us through a flat road slightly stretched with small ups and downs, on the way we will observe beautiful landscapes that house high Andean lagoons and wildlife such as the Wallatas and Vicuñas until we reach the viewpoint of the Waqrapukara Complex, then descend for about 40 minutes until you reach the ceremonial center of Waqrapukara. We will have an explanation of our Guide the importance of this Archaeological complex, then we will have a determined time to take adequate photos. At the end of our guided tour we will descend through another route to the town of Huayqui where a delicious lunch and our mobility will be waiting for us to return to the City of Cusco.
