You will be picked up from your hotel very early in the morning around 5.00am and we will head to the train station at Ollantaytambo for our train departure at 7.45am. We board the Vistadome train and go to the town of Aguas Calientes and arrive at 9.30am. Here on arrival your professional English/Spanish-speaking guide will be waiting for you to drive to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.2450m.or 8036 Feet We will take a short bus ride to the Machu Picchu complex, where we visit the incredible architecture and the mysterious temples left by the Incas. Your guide will help you to understand the sophisticated ideas and technology of this highly advanced culture.

If you still have energy, you can also climb the mountain of Machu Picchu (which means Old Mountain) at 3000m. or 9840Fee It takes about one hour and a half to get to the top, the other option to visit the Huayna Picchu Mountain at 2667m. or8747 Fee takes around one hour depending on your fitness. The Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu ticket reservation is 3 months in advance and is only for over 12 years of age ($70.00 USD – optional). The suggested time to descend from Machu Picchu to the city of Aguas Calientes is 1.00pm. It is recommended to arrive 30 minutes before the departure of the train.
