Itinerary To South Valley

After breakfast at 8am our transport will leave the hotel and we will head to the south side of Cusco, arriving at the town of Tipón and then visit its archaeological complex. This site shows the impressive hydraulic engineering of the Incas as it has fountains and channels that are still in use today, and the distribution of water to each Inca terrace. After our guided tour of these Inca constructions, we continue our excursion and visit the pre-Inca site of Pikillacta, satellite city of the Wari Culture. A different sample of ancient urban planning, the guide will share with you the history of this site, besides from there we will have beautiful views of the surrounding valley.
Finally, visiting the town of Andahuaylillas and visiting two colonial temples, San Pedro church is known as «the Sistine Chapel of America» and the Colonial Temple of Huaro where they show baroque paintings of the XVI and XVII of the Cusqueña school.
